Stonehenge formed in Cape Breton in 1979 with players aged 12 to 16. They played clubs and taverns all over Cape Breton Island. |

The band went into the Audio Atlantic Studios in Halifax on June 2, 1981 and over two days produced the single "Endlessly/Coke Avenue " with Pat Martin at the controls. "Endlessly" was a hit on local radio that summer. |

The band broke up in the summer of 1983. |
