* Born July 25.1938 in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.
* At age seven started to play the guitar, (country).
* At age fourteen discovered the COUNTRY JUMP BLUES and adapted it to the guitar.
* Made his debut in 1953 playing for the Halifax Colored Citizens Improvement League.
* Joined the Halifax Civic Youth Dance Band in 1955, (playing guitar).
* After watching the 1956 release of the movie THE GIRL CAN”T HELP IT he started his own band and named it EDDY M and the ROCK-A-BILLYS.
* 1958- Toured with Bill Haley and the Comets in the Canadian Maritimes.
* 1958- Produced a live weekly Rockabilly show on CKBW, Bridgewater.
* Promoted the first home grown Rock-A-Rama at the Halifax Forum featuring the Rock-A-Billys, the Meteors, Art Sampson and his Rockets, the Lucky Four, the Rain Drops and from Kentville, Dutchy Mason and the Esquires.
* 1960- Played at the Casa Loma in Montreal backing the Folies Bergere dancers.
* Formed his next group, Eddy M and the Miracles in London, Ontario.
* 1961- Toured in the States, personal appearances with Buddy Knox and the Fendermen.
* 1963- Recorded some of his original material at Starday Studios in Nashville.
* Moved to Grimsby, Ontario with his wife Melva where they bought land and developed a private recreational complex complete with a recording studio, record label and a new band called Eddy M and the Memories.
* 1982- Produced an Album titled, 30 Years of Eddy M.
* 2003- Joined the broadcast team on CFBW, Hanover as a DJ.
* 2010- Produced a CD to give to folks where he played.
* 2013- Celebrated sixty years in the music business.
