A late sixties band from the Clayton Park/Rockingham area of Halifax whose members attended Halifax West High School. Name was taken from "The Rhyme Of The Ancient Mariner". They formed from the ashes of "The Trip" and were together from 1966-69. |
In 68-69 Richard MacFarlane, brother of Bruce MacFarlane of the Axmen, was the light show creator/presenter and booking agent. He was as much a part of the group as the musicians. |
Melanson went on to sing with "Chillum" with Sheridan who also later played in "Sandy Road". |
