The Business / White Lies formed in 1983 in Newfoundland after the demise of the beloved Newfoundland band “The Wonderful Grand Band” with Ian Perry - bass, Glenn Simmons - guitars and Kevin McCarthy – drums. The band moved to Nova Scotia and Glenn Simmons left shortly afterwards so Ian Perry switched to lead guitar. In 1988 the band's name was changed to “White Lies” and continued until it broke up in 1991. |
