Darrell Adams - drummer in Omega from 1976-1978 lost his battle with cancer in March of 2008 at the age of 59.

Ralph Allen Armstrong - rhythm, lead guitar, vocals and co-founder of THE 4 TEENS died of blood poisoning caused by an infection  from a stem cell transplant to treat chronic lymphacytic leukemia on his 58 th birthday July 2 ,2005 in Vancouver B.C..

Robert "Bob" Annand - saxophone in The Nite Shift and Electric Jungle passed away on April 6/2016.

Phil Bambrek - bassist in The Finest Hour.

Rick Barbrick - rhythm guitar in The Dynamics, bass in The Exceptions, Omar Kayam, Country Rock and High Voltage passed away in May 1996 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Ric Bendokas - bass/guitar with Cycle, Ronnie Prophet and long time Musicstop employee passed away October 18/2004 at the age of 51 from cancer.

Brett Bezanson - drummer for Sun Machine, Sam Moon, Wayne Nicholson left us on April 21/2002 at the age of 40.

Bob Biggs - drummer in Molly Oliver (around 1985) passed away on August 30/2014 at the age of 60.

Gary Blair - drummer in The Dutch Mason Blues Band.

Dan Bowers - bass in Felix, Track, several other bands and most recently Ghostrider passed away Dec.31/2015.

Lenny Brennan - guitar in The Lost Children, Pepper Tree.

Ross Broughm - a prominent guitarist featured on Don Messer's Show and Sing-A-Long Jubilee in 1963, passed away on November 20/2009 in St. Martha's Hospital in Antigonish at the age of 76.

Kenneth Wade Brown - guitarist in the Dutch Mason Blues Band passed away in Truro N.S. on Feb.19/2010 at the age of 63.

Nelson Cashen - rhythm guitar in The Fendermen, bass in Ashley Heavy and several other bands passed away in Ottawa on October 22/2013.

Derrick Chaisson - drums/vocals Virginia Foxe, Tagin.

Neil Chambers - organ/vocals Burger And The Bitts, Turnpike died on September 8/1999.

Scott Cheverie - lead vocals/harmonicas in Full Circle, Sarjent Rokk and Vicious Polyester passed away March 4/2013 at the age of 50.

Ken Clattenburg - drummer in the Dutch Mason Trio.

Jim Clench - bass/vocals in April Wine from 1970-1975 and again from 1992-2007. Jim was born in Newfoundland and passed away on November 2/2010 at the age of 61 after a battle with lung cancer.

Keith Coffin - keyboards/vocals in The Langley Beach Crowd, Outcasts.

Chad Conrad - played drums in Razorboy and then formed Crossroads where he was the lead singer died after a scooter accident in the Cayman Islands.

Victor "Pinky" Dauvin - drums/vocals in The Continentals and The Stitch In Tyme and was also the original lead singer in Lighthouse passed away April 21/2013 at the age of 67 in New Market, Ontario.

Harvey Deveau - drummer in The Ferrari's Of Canada passed away at the age of 68 on August 4/2009 in Massachusetts.

Denny Doherty - vocals in The Halifax Three and The Mamas And Papas passed away on January 19/2007 at the age of 66 from kidney failure following surgery on an abdominal aneurysm.

Rick Edgett - guitar/songwriter in Maan, Pepper Tree and played with several other artists passed away July 21/2013 after a lenghty battle with cancer at the age of 61.

Paul Feeney - sound technician for multiple bands as well as the house tech for the Misty Moon and the Copper Penny. Paul also was employed for a time with Tourtech East. He passed away Jan14,2005.

Edgar Fevens - guitar, harmonica and trumpet in The Ferraris Of Canada passed away on August 23/2015 at the age of 76 after a lengthy illness.

Bobby “Sticks” Fisher - drummer for Pagliaro and Walter Rossi as well as playing with a who’s who of local musicians including Frank MacKay, Terry Hatty, Pam Marsh, Jim Henman and too many more to count. Bob died in 2010 at age 61 from an incurable disease called scleroderma.

Jon "Bones" Fisher - roadie for Soma died in 2006 at the age of 55 from severe aggressive pneumonia.

Ron Giles - bass/vocals for Southside, Focus and long time Musicstop employee passed away October 1/2002.

Joe Graves - played guitar in The Corvettes passed away January 11/2011 at the age of 67.

Jimmy Haggart - guitar in Blue Cats passed away in 2006.

Jack Harris - best known as the drummer in SOMA and played in several other bands as well passed away after a short battle with cancer on July 22/2016.

Hazen Horsman - booking agent passed away on January 31/2004.

Geoff Jardine - drums in several bands and taught drums and percussion for over 30 years passed away July 5/2016 at the age of 63.

Jack Jeffery - played bass in The Dutch Mason Blues Band in the 70's.

Ric Jeffery - harmonicas for The Dutch Mason Blues Band and his own band lost his long battle with lung cancer at the age of 53 on November27/2003.

Blaine Jollimore - saxes/flute in The Rockin' Rockets, Lectric Music Revolution, Ashley Heavy, Sun Machine, Cycle, The Echoes and many others.

Keith Jollimore - saxes/flute in Five Sounds (Central Nervous System), Soma and Lighthouse and played on recordings by Pepper Tree, April Wine, Snakeye and many others.

Doug Kirby - a well known booking agent in the area passed away on Christmas day 2008.

Berkley Lamey - bass with Buddy And The Boys and the first musical director of The Rise And Follies of Cape Breton died of cancer at the age of 57.

Kim Leier - drums in The Loose Ends and The Exceptions passed away April 12/2016 at the age of 66.

John Lindsay - lead guitar in Mentwood died in a tragic car accident in 1971.

Jack MacDonald - played guitar in Lectric Music Revolution, passed away on July 25/2012 at the age of 72.

Owen MacDonald - manager of Lectric Music Revolution.

Rob MacIntosh - tenor sax with Shirley Jackson and her Good Rock'n Daddys, The Sidecats, The Blown Gasket Orchestra and many others passed away on August 30//2014 at the age of 53.

Brian MacLeod - guitar/drums/vocals in Garrison Hill, Pepper Tree, Edward Bear, Chilliwack and The Headpins died of cancer on April 25/1992.

Kevin Macmichael - guitar/vocals in Spice, Fast Forward, Cutting Crew and Robert Plant lost his battle with cancer on December 31/2002.

Rita MacNeil - singer/songwriter from Big Pond, Cape Breton passed away on April 17/2013 at the age of 68 from complications following surgery.

Ralph Martinelli Jr. - lead guitar in The Ferraris Of Canada and was also an accomplished fiddle player and was awarded with many awards throughout his illustrious career. He was a seven time recipient of being named the top fiddle player in Massachusetts. He also received many awards from the Massachusetts Country Music Awards Association. Ralph passed away on August 6/2015 at the age of 79.

Dutch Mason - "The Prime Minister Of The Blues" led The Dutch Mason Trio and then The Dutch Mason Band until his death on December 23/2006 from diabetes related illness at the age of 68.

Bill McCauley - keyboards in Redeye and Oakley passed away on November 4/2000 after falling into a diabetic coma at the age of 40.

Joey McNeil - lead vocals for The Vibrations, The Five Satins, Odessa and most recently The Gray Blues and The New Vibrations passed away August 4/2012 at the age of 65.

David Miller - sax for Zylan.

Bob Mingo - owned Bob Mingo's Music Sales in Truro N.S..

Danny Mitchell - drums in Country Rock was killed in a car accident.

Dave Moore - vocals in The Mustangs drowned after saving another swimmer at Lawrencetown Beach in the summer of 1969.

Ron Morgan - lead guitar in the police band Blue Thunder, The Shamrocks, Idle Tyme, The Blues Of The Cherry and The Graham Bowser Orchestra passed away on July 11/2016 at the age of 74.

Gus Morris - bass passed away May 20/2002 from cancer.

Frank Mumford - guitar in The Lincolns passed away on September 12/2004 at the age of 61 from cancer.

Rick Newell - drums/vocals in 4-Play.

Mickey "Moke" Oakley - roadie for Soma died from natural causes in 2010 at the age of 60.

Ritchie Oakley - lead guitar in The Oakley Band, Soma and several other bands passed away in hospital following a stroke April 4/2013 at the age of 68.

Mike O'Brien - guitar in Pandora passed away at the age of 57 on December 18th 2013.

Reggie O'Haggen - piano in Blue Cats passed away in 2004.

Bonnie Oulton - sang with the first version of Pepper Tree in 1967, The Wonderful Grand band in the 70's and the Ardorfolk died of cancer in Winndsor N.S. on May 30/2010.

Gregory Donald Patterson - played bass in several Annapolis Valley bands including Tempest, Bonded Stock, Common Ground and lastly, his band of brothers of Jokers Right, passed away Aug. 3rd, 2015 at the age of 58.

Mike Pelham - played drums in Lectric Music Revolution and other local bands died from cancer August 5/2003 at the age of 49.

Ken Pineo - played drums in The Dutch Mason Blues Band passed away in Febuary 2017.

Mike Rayworth - bass and Musicstop employee.

Enver Sampson Jr. - harmonicas and vocals in The Minglewood Band was killed in a motorcycle accident in Alberta.

Rickey Scott - guitar in Mother's Fear.

Mike Shepherd - worked in the music industry for over 35 years as a road manager, booking agent and doing sound and lights for many east coast acts, passed away in Calgary Alberta on Feb. 7/2016 at the age of 69.

Blair Smith - lead vocals, keyboards in 4-Play passed away after a battle with cancer on September 5/2006.

Jay Smith - guitar with Matt Mays, Rock Ranger passed away in Edmonton, Alberta while on tour with Matt Mays on March 27/2013.

"Scrapper" Stevenson - soundman for The Lincolns, Horse, Soma, Dutch Mason and many others passed away in May 2004.

Lee Taylor - saxes in The Lincolns.

Harold Tsistinas - long time sound engineer at Solar Audio passed away at the age of 68 on June 10/2013.

Kenneth Umphrey - bass in Snakeye, passed away from natural causes at the age of 63 on December 20/2015.

Bill Wallingham - guitar, bass and flute in Moonstruck.

Charlie Ward - New Glasgow based musician and former member of The Wylde Pack, The Strangerz, Tower & CUFF passed away on Aug 8/2009 at the Aberdeen Hospital in New Glasgow. Charlie was also the origianl rythm guitar player for Horse when the group was formed in a farm house outside of Pictou, NS.

Kenny Weeks - lead vocals and keyboards in The Meteors and Compromise passed away on April 1, 2009 after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 70.

Davey Wells - born David Winston Upshaw and sang on CBC's Singalong Jubilee, Music Hop and Frank's Bandstand passed away on January 5/2002 at the age of 59.

Kenny Wentzell - rhythm guitar in Electric Jungle passed away on July 20/2006.

Eric Wood - drummer in Dogrib passed away July 30/2008 at the age of 58.

Skip Yorke - booking agent for a great many bands passed away on June 25, 2007.
